I'm just some guy sitting on a couch and I can see many lies from the family in that article.
I can see the guy was a loser that constantly started fights that led to months in jail in two different instances.
A guy that couldn't find a job.
A man child that whined so mush about jail being boring that he demanded the jail get comic books for him to look at the pictures.. I wonder what kind of comics they were.... Anime?
Its on camera him striking Rittenhouse with the skateboard.
Then the big lie that has nothing to do with any of it.
The police worked with armed people that were trying to stop the burning and looting by "funneling" the protestors towards the armed ones.
Huber was not being funneled but chasing after Kyle.
Their argument is like saying Huber is not guilty of robbing the bank because others told him that there is a lot of money in there, and Tv and movies also show a lot of money and some videos even show how easy it is to rob banks.
Then when he walked in to the bank, he could see the vault and the counters pointed him facing the vault, so he was forced to rob the bank.

This is what some parts of our society has "progressed" into. Your dear sweet baby boy/girl does something stupid and/or illegal and pays for it. You immediately sue everyone in sight for the actions they had to take to protect themselves from your precious angelic kid.
Something like this is happening in Springfield. A man who had mental problems attacked several police officers with a knife, stabbed one in the face several times, and the other officers had to shoot, killing him.
Immediately the Black community, lead by several black ministers, are accusing the police of killing him. Even after the family and ministers were shown the body cam film which showed the attack, they continued to claim that the police were in the wrong and the "community" failed him by not giving him the help he needed.

The criminal trial jury didn’t buy the active shooter BS, in fact the jury found Rittenhouse NG of the grosskruetz and Huber counts very quickly, The last count they decided was the rosenbaum count. In the criminal trial Hubers violent history wasn’t allowed because that was something Rittenhouse didn’t know at the time. In a civil trial that history comes in. The burden of proof is lower but the ‘he was just trying to stop an active shooter’ bs is going to be counter acted with he was a violent person who did prison time who was being violent again.
Even if he “thought” he was stopping an active shooter, if Rittenhouse legally shot rosenbaum, Hubers thoughts are irrelevant. He had no idea what was happening but for what people were yelling. That’s why you stay out of things that don’t involve you. If Rittenhouse was legal in the shooting of rosenbaum, Huber was committing a battery with a dangerous or deadly weapon.
Huber wasn’t on camera starting fires etc but he was on camera flipping off the cops and mouthing off during the night.
I seriously doubt Kenosha will settle any of these lawsuits. None of the cities employees were directly involved in the deaths and I doubt they want to set a precedence of settling in cases like this. After it got dark, people were out there to riot, start fires or watch it. I doubt the jurors are going to have much sympathy for the dead. They put themselves in that situation and assumed the risk.

I think he wants the crime issues corrected but that’s the only somewhat moderate area of his. He has criticized the state legislature and asked them to fix their moronic bail reform law they passed a few years ago that lets criminals out hours after crimes but the legislature is very left and probably won’t change it.
That’s a big problem going forward for blue cities especially in blue states. Even if a mayor wants to do something about crime, if you have a DA who won’t prosecute then it’s impossible to reduce crime. Cops won’t bother making arrests but even if they do, the DA drops charges. In the blue states you have crazy state laws being passed in addition to the joke DAs.
Ironically, the worse crime is, the lower gun control will poll. Dems are obsessed with gun control but the increase in crime is a big obstacle. They’re making more pro self defense, pro 2A each day.

I thought the "$275mm Lawsuit" was settled for an undisclosed amount. Same with NBC. They are using the amount sued for as a title for articles, but he didn't receive those amounts. They settled.
No one knows what Sandman got from CNN, NBC, Washington post, etc. settlements are always confidential and undisclosed. Any number given is pure wild speculation. The only people who know are the lawyers, Sandman and a few executives at the companies.
