The irony here is over the years I have seen probably a dozen posts by this clown that have made my 2A senses cringe. He is selfishly motivated caring for only his own dwindled rights and nothing more.
 
Is it just me or does it seem like the protests have calmed down a bit since KR defended himself? Perhaps it has do do with Biden realizing this violent protest nonsense is bad for his campaign. But maybe it is because people on both sides are afraid of getting shot?

They haven't. The media is just hiding them to protect Biden. Portland is still in constant turmoil nightly and there were just more issues in WI.

To the extent they've calmed down, it's because polling has showed they are killing the dems. So no more support from dem pols. But in reality, the riots are still happening, the media is just ignoring in an attempt to shield Biden/Hoe from the fallout.

I mean, most of us have probably exercised that pass already, at one time or another. If we're being honest.

The thing with @308rifleman is that he makes a lot more than one stupid post. I give him credit for being consistent, I guess. But based on what he's shared here, my own impression is that he's not really a person who thinks deeply about the downstream consequences of the choices he makes. That doesn't make him unusual, and it actually doesn't always make him wrong... but it does make him dig in and double down on his unconstitutional opinions. That's the kind of thing that makes me shake my head. He's not the only one here, either; he's generally honest about it though, if 100% dead-stupid wrong.

I'm just glad he hasn't mentioned anthrax vaccination yet.

They’ve only slowed down to the extent they don’t have as much to destroy having destroyed so much already. It’s been so common for so long it’s now become less shocking and therefore less interesting, so is covered less and even if it wasn’t, you wouldn’t care as much. When shit kicked off in Minneapolis, I watched dozens of hours of live streams. It was shocking. Now, half a year later, seeing people burning down buildings and beating people up, it’s old. You become jaded and desensitized to it all.

Seeing how there was a just another murder, in broad daylight, on camera, in front of many witnesses, with police only a few dozen yards away, I’d say it probably hasn’t really slowed down much.

Some people can't think in nuanced terms.

"I deplore the militarization of the police and want them to be accountable for their occasional criminal behavior" is not the same as saying "I'm in favor of taking all the cops, retraining them as garbage collectors, and then converting all the police stations to Section 8 housing so that we can embrace unfettered immigration. And, go Biden!!!!"

There's a spectrum. Some people go straight to the idiot fringe. They're welcome to stay there, but they shouldn't expect others to follow them.

All jokes aside, even if it's self defense why is he NOT being charged with being underaged with a gun and crossing state lines with the gun he's not supposed to have? Sorry if I missed it. I don't know what he was looking for, but I mean one can argue if it wasn't for him doing that, he wouldn't be in this situation to begin with.
