A Memorial Day Tribute to my brother John.

Damn, what a tear jerking remembrance. What an incredible man.

I'm sorry for your loss, Kim, but your brother was a true man, a true hero.

Great read. He sounded like a true American hero and a badass that all enemies would fear. Thank you for your service sir....RIP

John did his first three tours in Vietnam as an enlisted man, and made it to E-7 and then they gave him a direct commission to 2LT.

On his fourth tour, he earned the DSC, and retired as a Major in 1986.

He was never able to adjust to civilian life, and he drank himself to death in spite of all of us who tried to help him.

At least he is at peace now.......

Thank you for sharing. God bless you and your brother.

Sent using my tablet because I'm too lazy to turn on my computer.

Thank you.

And thanks to your brother forproving that there are still brave, good men among us.

Words cannot express our gratitude. This is their day, and that of those who follow.
