About to buy an AR-15... help appreciated.

Spike's is a great rifle but sometimes hard to come by because of demand. BCM is really good too. You should get what you really want and not settle for anything. If you want the Colt, get it.

Bob's in Webster has or at least HAD the Windhams. These are made in the former Bushmaster factory. They are supposed to be real good and at a good price.

Get the Colt. Bravo Company does a great job with their product. Colt is all mil spec and ready to go in the basic set up. The big thing to consider is the cost but you'll have the real deal. All of the builders' rate their ARs as "like a Colt" but there not a Colt.

Finally found one in stock!

They supposedly had 3, but our friend went to go pick one up this morning and they were already sold out.

When I brought it into the local shop, the guy was like, "where the hell did you find one of these?!"

Thanks for all the help, guys. I know a lot of you will be disappointed I didn't get the Colt, but I did some more research and the M&P15 Sport fits pretty much every check mark on "the chart(s)," and I like some of the changes S&W has made. The extra money I save can go to ammo, accessories, etc. :)

Taking it to the range soon!
