If this article is true, then it seems to me that a concerted private citizens effort to get these retailers to at least follow the law (no sales to visiting Mexicans on day visas) would be a responsible thing to do.

Ok, there's also big signs stating no guns and no ammo in mexico. Ten years for a single bullet.... So its not our fault if mexican authorities are "reverse profiling" mexicans and giving them a pass if they have tons of ammo in their car. That's their problem.

Till of course some of that 7.62 comes whizzing by my head while I am doing my job... either way this argument is complete bs and I dont like it.
If bullets come at me bullets are going back at them. So now they must racially profile mexican smugglers of ammo. Who will object, and take us to court using our tax dollars...... its all crap gah.

I'd be perfectly happy to see them profile would-be Mexican ammo smugglers. And the ACLU can stick their lawsuits you-know-where.

One symptom of a failed state is that the laws become increasingly harsh on the books but can't be enforced. Mexico is in a very dangerous position.

I also wouldn't be surprised if much of the weaponry used by the narcos is sponsored by Venezuela.
