They just need to change the youth training program requirement from members children only to sponsored by member only.

Rules still in place and the young shooter training classes continue. The BOD is basically the same.

Andover is right up the road from me, I had thought about signing up there instead of where I've been the last 15 years, but the lame 5-round thing, and now rules like this - no way.
My young tween son has a friend whose Dad is a member there. The dad and I thought it would be nice to take the boys shooting together sometime.
Looks like it won't be at his range.
Not worth the hoops to jump through, and my son has long ago moved beyond just 22 rifle.
This is an impediment to youth shooting imo.

I may hold off sending my member application. Plan was to have my two boys learn at the club when they're older.
