Got a buddy who is hearing-impaired. Took him shooting yesterday. Poor guy is HOOKED.

He wants to get his LTC (Newton resident).

Anyone know of instructors who can work with deaf folks?

Thanks!

p.s. Happy Patriot's Day. I spent many a Monday [crying] from Hopkinton to the finish line on Boylston St.

Thanks for the replies folks!

Re: hearing protection. My buddy has a hearing aid (next to useless) so of course he was wearing hearing protection.

We were next to a bunch of guys shooting full-auto rifle ... even though my friend was deaf, he could FEEL the report. Never saw him so wide-eyed. lol.

My wife is an NRA/MA certified pistol and rifle instructor. She can work with hearing impaired individuals. Her signing is rusty but she's willing to meet with the guy. Drop me a PM and I'll put you in touch with her.
