Not being on the EOPS approved list, they're rather hard to find these days. I got mine a few years back when Carl at 4S managed to find a few. IIRC, they were just under $500 then.
I normally don't play this game, but I picked up a CZ-75B from Bay State Arms some years back for $300. Spent another $100 for four hi-cap mags a couple of years ago. GREAT gun; nice and reliable. Still want to pick up a Kadet conversion for it. Someday... when I'm working again. Not being on the EOPS approved list, they're rather hard to find these days. I bought a couple of dual tones (9mm and .40), but I haven't seen any around for a while.was thinking about trying to track down some MA legals to price, and was wondering if anyone else has had that compulsion or would know where to find one?
My father gave me one a few years back. great shooter. He picked two up from 4 Seasons.
My 22 LR conversion never worked well either.I purchased a CZ-75B in 9mm while living in Michigan with an additional 22LR Kadet conversion unit. Great ergonomics and totally reliable with any ammo in 9mm somewhat fussy with 22 LR ammo.
Sig 229 has a decocker and must be carried hammer down (or chamber empty). The CZ75B doesn't have a decocker. You can carry it cocked and locked. You can carry it hammer down, but you'll have to lower the hammer by hand. Can anyone compare and contrast the CZ75 to a Sig 229? I like the looks of the CZ and have handled one but never had a chance to shoot one.
You mean, cheaply made and not as good as American ones?hand-crafted in Switzerland like those old Swiss watches (before digital)!

The 229, like all Sigs, has a high bore axis. The CZ75 bore axis is relatively low. The stock sights on the CZ75B suck. Trigger is OK.
The CZ75 has also had problems with slide stop pins breaking.
So advantage Sig?
Not for me. I'd carry my CZ-75 cocked and locked before I'd carry my SIG. YMMV.So advantage Sig?
