AR Barrel review

Non-mid gas systems are a proven standard in a M4 14.5 barrel system. I am just too much of a traditionalist and having so short a barrel after the gas block bothers me. In truth the mid system may not be less reliable it just is not the standard set by years of continous service.

That is correct, but to my knowledge their is no known issue with short-stroking due to mid length gas systems, though problems may start to occur with overly heavy buffers.
