How is today's "Armalite" these days? Might not be top tier Larue/DD/LWRC level but for seven bens from the factory already specced out for a lefty shooter, not bad?

Yeah StagDoes anyone make a true lefty lower ? Maybe a nice true ambi lower with a left port upper?
Some do....and they're real adamant about it too.Top tier AR15? People still talk like this?
I learned the term after I got laughed at when I mentioned I have a BCM and it's built well. Was told it was "not top tier". Honestly just want an additional AR that runs great and factory built lefty friendly.Top tier AR15? People still talk like this?
Whoever laughed at you for saying your BCM was built well probably spent 4k on a KAK or Ridgeline LPR, which is laughable in itselfI learned the term after I got laughed at when I mentioned I have a BCM and it's built well. You need to learn to stop listening to the idiots on NES. Most people here can't hit a paper plate at 100 yards and spent too much money on sh*t they will never use.I learned the term after I got laughed at when I mentioned I have a BCM and it's built well. I had an AR10 back around 2007-2008, only thing about it that sucked was having to use the modified M14 magazines. Armalite was a very different company back then I think. A lot of younger people don't realize that back in the day you didn't have the choices you had today with AR style guns. Not sure how they are today, I got an AR-10T back a couple decades when they were the only game around apart from KAC's SR-25. Was well built & shot well, not as tacticool as an SR-25 but also was $1500 which was still a lot to a grad student.. They were formerly Eagle Arms started by Mark Westrom until he bought the Armalite name.
He was suggesting the Secret Service should carry micro uzis. He doesn't know a lot about the things he talks aboutYou need to learn to stop listening to the idiots on NES. Most people here can't hit a paper plate at 100 yards and spent too much money on sh*t they will never use.
There is a core group of people that actually use their rifles and shoots a lot. You have been here for a while, you should know who those are.
The G18 would be a lot better for that role over the micro uzi. I don't know if the SS carries or has them though.Reagan's boys used to carry the big one. Why didn't the lady agent at least have a G18 with a folding stock? To me, a downgrade from a generation ago.

I also have an AR-10T I got when I had an 01 FFL, early 90's. I had to order it and wait about 5-6 months to get it. Haven't shot it in a while but is decently accurate. Only dislike is proprietary mags. Not sure how they are today, I got an AR-10T back a couple decades when they were the only game around apart from KAC's SR-25. Yeah AWB & ATF was at work then. Those mags were annoying. They have/had updated ones for them. IIRC you could use GI M14 mags as long as it had the slot cut out but there'd be no bolt hold open.I also have an AR-10T I got when I had an 01 FFL, early 90's. Yep. They should have gone with FAL mags, plenty of those.I had an AR10 back around 2007-2008, only thing about it that sucked was having to use the modified M14 magazines. Yeah I had a bunch of M1A mags for my M1A Supermatch, but didn't really feel the need to modify any as the 10T was, at least to me, a heavy rifle and was only shot from a bipod or bags. Haven't shot the M1A in a while either.Yeah AWB & ATF was at work then. Those mags were annoying. They have/had updated ones for them. Racist picture. The white guy gets the Uzi with a standard-cap mag; the minority gentleman gets stuck with a snub revolver. OK, back on topic.Reagan's boys used to carry the big one. Why didn't the lady agent at least have a G18 with a folding stock? To me, a downgrade from a generation ago.
