Really?? Not only is this a terrible shot, ya I know something could have happened, but if this deer really is that young then y shoot it??

That looks like an arrow that would be shot from a recurve or long bow.
I've seen people shooting those type bows, and I'm supprised it doesn't happen more often.

more than likely it was the result of a deflection, i dont really blame the hunter. Mainly because i don't know what really happened.

a regular recurve should have sufficient energy to penetrate further than what that arrow did.

Here's what i think happened hunter saw the deer probably the only one of the day and said screw it im gonna shoot it. took the shoot and the arrow hit a branch most likely deflected.
