Astra Constable 380 Magazine Spring

I have an Astra Constable in 380 and I am having some FTF problems with hollow points due to a weak magazine spring. I also have a mag with a good stiff spring and no FTF problems with that mag.

As most of you know They are no longer making parts for this weapon and I don't really want to buy a used mag as it is a crap shoot. The Magazine can be disassembled to remove the magazine spring and there must be a magazine spring that I can get that will fit the magazine I have.

Anyone have any experience with this?? All suggestions welcome.

Try Wolff Gunsprings - they may not have a cataloged spring for your mag, but if you call or email they might have something that will work.

If they can't help, go over to Gunbroker and look up a seller named Van Loos. He's in Spain, and can get all kinds of Astra/Star/CETME parts that he may not have on auction. I've bought from him before.

Thanks for the information Kevin. I sent an email to Wolf Springs to see what they say and if they have no ideas I will contact the seller you mentioned on Gunbroker.

I ended up ordering a generic .380 magazine spring from Wolff Gunsprings. I will post when I get a chance to get it fitted and after a trip to the range.
