Benelli M4 Adjustable Stock

With the new gun laws can I have a fully functioning adjustable rear stock on my Benelli M4?

Is it different for shotguns vs rifles?

I have seen multiple people say that since they passed the new laws the rifle stocks can now be adjustable.

What's funny is that it had to be pinned Pre 8/1 (unless pre '94) then anything on 8/1 could be unpinned but if it arrived here on 8/2, pinned...
