Blue Northern Trading - Going Out Of Business Sale Today, Tomorrow, and Saturday

yesterday, I scored a downeast rod holder for $16...also some Rapala lures. A few good fly reels, but even at 1/2 off, out of my price range. [sad2]

there seemed to be a lot of arrows left if archery's your thing.

There was still a good amount of fishing stuff, spinner reels, boots, waders (sadly, not in my size)...one guy bought one of the st. croix wooden rod racks when I was there.

they said they may be open some more, they'll need to see where they stand after Saturday.

If you want shotgun slugs, they have a bunch of 12 and 20 ga left. They have a bunch of powder, H1000, 4831SC, Hi-skor 800, international clays. Still lots of fishing lures, hard and soft plastics. Also they are selling pictures, paintings and some of the wall decorations. They are also selling the display racks, and you do not need to pick them up immediately, based on what I overheard. I forgot to ask for the "Insured by S&W" sign.

I got 12 carbon arrows for $25, plus a big federal premium banner with a picture of a turkey with a helmet. Also got the blue northern banner that flew behind the piper cub, and 308 win die set.

They said they would be open next Saturday, and maybe next Friday.

if they are still available, i would be interested. But dont go out of your way.

What a bummer, my firearm hobby has waned due to work taking over my life and I have not stopped by in a while. What the heck am I going to do now for reloading supplies? Drive up to Shooters Outpost?

Chris

They're going to be open this Friday and Saturday from Noon to 6:00. There's fishing stuff and furniture and fixtures.

A real shame we're losing another long standing store. They're a bit out of the way for me, but I've made a few trips there over the last few years. Picked up a really nice Ruger MKII the last time. One of the few places I could count on to be open on Sundays when I was bored.

I work in devens and these guys were my go to store. I'm sad I just didn't have the money to buy more from them, ex-wife is taking it all.

I think they were great guys, and if they happen to look here. I wanted to say thanks for always being so helpful and open to chit chat. They were a great crew.

I wonder how many people I know have a stuffed bear that they can loan out. Questions that make you go HMMMMMMMM?
Whenever I pay through the nose for dealer periodic maintenance at The Honda Store,
I strive to lunch at Michael's Bridge Diner in Lancaster.
Which has a ginormous (owner-shot?) bear.

I see they're "temporarily closed" for family health problems,
but one hopes they have what it takes to reopen when the
virus panic porn clears out of the PRM.

When I saw this thread pop up again, my first hopeful thought was 'they reopening?' :(

Michael's Bridge Diner is great. Lots of stuffed animals on the walls and great food. Hope everyone is ok and they reopen.

I came here to post "this is sad, I bought the PPS I still carry from them years ago".

Then I realized they went out of business in 2017 and I didn't know.

😬
