Boston globe Mill article

Jack, let us know if you need help, want us to show up, or stay away.
Thanks for the offer, but help with what? If any moonbats have the balls for a little protest, which I doubt, the cops can deal with it. And the Glob can write about it. Megan and I will be out in the sunroom having cocktails. Come join me. I'm only 5 miles from the Mill in Acton. Jack.

What exactly are they searching for that shouldn't be transferred?

The short answer is nothing, because the law is being followed.

It was an OP ED designed to incite hysteria, advertising revenue and votes for political hacks. There is no actual illegal activity going on, just commerce.

Saturday will be an interesting day in and around the mill to say the least.
The article was 100% meant to cause trouble.

99.7% chance the GlobeDimocRAT reporter will be there this weekend incognito with a camera praying for trouble.

Let's not give her what she's praying for.

Back in my youth, when I was a Special PO at The World, it was explained to me that anyone NOT shopping was trespassing and no further warning was nessisary. It was their way of getting rid of trouble makers quickly. It worked pretty well for the few troublemakers and the occasional gang member. Key to this were the lawyer approved signs at every entrance, and they had high end legal on retainer. The signs basically said the public was invited on the premises for the purpose of shopping only, all other uses were considered trespassing. The claim was that the signs constituted sufficient notice. It was occasionally challenged, they never lost soo....

Just a thought.

Maura is only 51 yrs old, in 10 yrs she'll be 61, just a perfect age for the 2032 Presidential run. Yes, she is ambitious and learned from Hillary's embarrassing loss to Trump. She's NOT going to repeat Hillary's gaffe's (basket of deplorables) and is trying to stay above the fray. She doesn't want to get into a pissing contest with us or get cornered by a lamestream reporter where she has to issue a condemnation of us or the majority of conservatives in America. She's observing the crop of mean girls and boys that populate the current Dem party and is laying low, keeping her powder dry expecting to use her new position of Governor of Ma. as a stepping stone to her future elected positions.
I was about to say that Americans and world leaders will never accept an openly lesbian president, but we have a pedo as president now so what do I know?

Anybody gets within earshot of that revenge porn fan, tell him he can f*** off.

I'm not so sure about that. I think most Americans under 50 don't really GAF about sexual orientation. My WAG is that some people won't vote for her because she's a woman, not because she's a lesbian. But who knows for sure? There's only one way to find out.

Take a look at that guy. If he got arrested for being a diddler wouldn’t you say “yup makes sense”.

For the record, I have no problem with the local cops.

Matt Pinard stopped doing classes when he became chief, and now refers students to me. I've also done engraving for them, and many of the cops are loyal customers at the Mill.

They started doing annual inspections because the (former) town manager insisted that they do so in accordance with state law. The inspections are by appointment (not by surprise) and take about 5 minutes. They look for proper signage and look at less than a month's worth of FA-10s to make sure nobody is transferring anything they shouldn't.

They've quickly responded to a few issues at the Mill when we've needed it, and I'm sure they'll be there to remove trespassers if any show up this weekend.

The Littleton Police and Fire Department were there for me when I needed it the most. Some might recall the fire from earlier this year. It was Officer Jim Morrine that entered a burning room with me to help secure valuables from my safe and assisted with transporting firearms to my vehicle. Several officers stayed that night to secure the scene and ensure no loss of property.

The next morning I get a call from Chief Pinard providing his cellphone directly letting me know that he and his department are available to provide any assistance needed and not to hesitate to call. Shortly after, two LPD officers came in, on their day off, in their personal capacity, to assist with the transport and inventory of firearms and ensure nothing is lost. Over 500 items were all accounted for with no loss thanks to Littleton Police. It is also worth noting that the Boston Office of the ATF graciously reached out to provide assistance if needed.

This is not to diminish at all from the outpour of support that I got from the NES community buying my damaged ammo and helping me get back on my feet, for which I am eternally grateful and I doubt I would have been able to continue business without the support that weekend.

A friend in need is a friend indeed. Littleton Police, Littleton Fire, Boston ATF, and NES were there for me, they will always have a friend in me. (Except @Tallahassee of course)

By "never lost" do you mean their right to immediately expel non-shoppers was upheld or that criminal trespass convictions were obtained by non-shoppers who had not even been asked to leave?

Former elastic mill, now liberal salt mill. I’m shocked and impressed that the largest collective of FFLs in the entire US is just outside Boston. I would have assumed FL, MT or TX or something. I’m beyond proud.
Well, you can write me a short thank you note, wrap it around a fifty and send it to me. LOL. Jack.

I told you yesterday I thought Pinard's statement was executed quite well. It was a perfectly neutral, middle of the road statement. He is definitely playing the political long-game.

Ofcourse a more supportive "screw Healey" statement would have been satisfying....but only for the short term. He made the right call.

Both at different times. Most of the time someone would file a complaint alleging some BS, not sure of the exact wording. Rarely went to trial, NEVER settled. The owners had an attitude about not giving in to scum looking for a settlement, they'd spend anything to win. I wish I remembered the law firm, some complaints were dropped as soon as they knew who they were up against. Money and the right law firm seams to be the key to success.

I figured if you ran the wording by a good lawyer, and talked to the CoP, they might bypass the step where the cops show up and ask again, and just have them arrest. We had an advantage as sworn LE we didn't have to call anyone to make an arrest, we only called for transport.

The threats “this must be stopped” that sounds like discrimination against legal businesses. I’ve been to many shops there and it’s a great group of nice honest hard working people.

This state is so cooked. Sadly I have put roots down here and they will be hard to pull up and plant somewhere else. But the libs make it obvious we cannot co-exist.
Choot em!!

Looks like a Keith G Langer left a post on the State Senators Facebook page regarding this issue

Keith G. Langer
Much ado about nothing.
There is no threat posed, and no crimes have been documented as being committed by any of the dealers, but the learned Senator demands "A robust, multi-agency government response..."
Translation: He hopes to use the Globe story to posture and get headlines.
Just as Maura did in FL, issuing her dictat in a letter to the Globe, hoping it would get her swept up in the widely-anticipated Hillary Ascension.

How did that work out?

Wait, cocktails at Jack’s?!

Not enough conspiracy in the thread. Interesting timing for sure

Any development that needs state help is doomed from the start. Isn’t that place private property?? Nobody’s fault but IBMs that they put a shitload of big buildings where nobody wants to be. Let the market fix itself.

My hope is that people don’t vote for her because she’s a communist piece of shit.
