BROWN BESS

I just picked up a Pedersoli Brown Bess musket made around 1976 it was a special order one marked 23RD Regiment of foot,and from what I understand only 800
were made.The owners name was engraved on the butt plate.Does any one own one,and if so how do you like it? I haven't shot mine yet.

I have a long land pattern Brown Bess (replica) that was given to me by my father. I enjoy shooting it immensely.

I picked up a Long Pattern Brown Bess a few years ago at Middlesex Village Trading Co. in New Hampshire. Very cool flintlock and as Mike indicated, tons of fun to shoot. Took her to one of NES's car shoots. A "blast" was definitely had.
