that guide is EXCELLENT for assembling a lower reciever.

if you plan on assembling your own upper reciever, check out Brownells or get a good book. theres a LOT more involved with building an upper.

I built mine a while ago using Arfcom and asking questions in the tech forums.There is an abundance of knowledge on those tech forums.

Brownells offers a down-loadable checklist for building an AR-15. It helps you gather all the necessary parts needed. Also, there are links to the Brownells videos in the "build it yourself" forum.

also, there is a "build it yourself" forum here on NES. MAny of the articles mentioned above are referneced there, plus you can read what others have done.
