Sure, it's the cartel's fault. It's not like they can buy or steal automatic weapons from the Mexican police and military. No, it's people with semi automatic handguns and rifles that are the problem.

Hmmm, we arrest the Kingpin's son, and get into a 5 hour gun battle, then release him to save anymore bloodshed. Repeat 3 years later: Arrest him; gun battle follows. Should've just kept him the first time.
I watched it because I was too lazy to change the channel after the Pats game. First, if the border wasn't an imaginary line and there was actual control over who is crossing it, less guns would go to Mexico and less of everything from Mexico would come to the US.
Second, I get the feeling these "bad actor" FFL's in Arizona are actually Intel agency fronts operated and owned by informants or other assets that answer to the usual three letter agencies. Why Arizona? It's obvious that Arizona is Deep State HQ for the SW/West Coast.

Back in 79, this young kid - prodegy - goes missing at UMich. He's 16 or something. There is an investigator that finds that he's deep into D&D and it must be that.
Sixty Minutes does a piece on it, saying he committed suicide b/c of D&D and comes up with 2 other suicides of young people to back it up.
The other two kids - it wasn't D&D.
A few weeks later. . . the kid calls the investigator. He was into drugs, and took off. Never committed suicide. (Well, he did a year later - because of hte drugs and depression.)
This is hte heyday of 60Min being the "source of integrity." Even then, they cared more about ratings than a story. Imagine. Even Wally Concrete was still there and they were 100% AOK with lying to the American people in order to beat out the late NFL game or whatever.
Imagine how little integrity they have 45 years later.

Well, they're partly correct. I mean Obama, Clinton, and Eric Holder were funneling them tons of guns for a while... Even going so far as forcing gun dealers to sell them when they knew they were going to the cartels.
Don't blame the guns. Blame our government that supplied them.

Thought that was the Bronco II rollover stuff, although not 100% if that was 60 Minutes or Dateline that pulled that made for TV stunt.
They also did a hit piece on GM when they rigged a Chevy pickup gas tank to explode when hit from the side.

I saw about 45 seconds and the woman reporter was interviewing an older guy... no clue who he was. Anyways the guy was mentioning how this compound was full of AMERICAN weapons.
They both had a visible grin on their faces while discussing it which told me everything I needed to know.

That was Dateline NBC. They ended up apologizing and firing the people who rigged the explosions because the trucks (square body pick up and light duty chassis) had passed all of the federal requirements.
60 Midgets did an "expose" of semi trailer and truck rear bumpers causing deaths when drivers ran into them. I think that might be the last time I watched the show. Not once did they mention that it was the fault of the drivers who ran into the backs of the trucks. They called for federal regulations to make those "bumpers" safer for people to run into.
The 60 Midgets formula has long been one "expose" hit piece heavily edited to make the target look bad, one more or less non controversial story, and one human interest story to make someone look like a Saint on earth.

They were saving these anti-gun articles up for when Biden (Harris) held the Oval Office again in 2025. It’s not like they can save them for 2028, so they just re-tooled them for XMAS25.
I doubt most liberals/Democrats will even bother a glance. Just the die-hard anti-gunners will lead the comments.
