Concealed Carry Hammer Fired

Hammer fired and great for IWB- Sig P220 Compact w/ factory melt job and short reset trigger. Great trigger and those who know I carry are still surprised when I draw it from under a t-shirt. Nice shooter too.

Just one man's opinion, but I happen to think that the SIG P239 (single stack 9mm version of P229 but slightly more compact) and S&W 3913 (single stack 9mm compact version of 5906) are two of the finest carry guns made. Both are stainless barrels and slides over alloy frames, DS/SA with decockers. Either can be carried all day to the point where you may forget you are carrying, and either could be used for an IDPA match. The only downside today is that neither is currently manufactured. However, it is not hard to find a used one of either model.

not my personal choice, ('cause I lean towards striker fired), but how about a small revolver?

S&W lightweight 5 shots, but very concealable.
If going this route look to a Ruger LCR in .327, or don’t.
I hate to recommend a pistol in such an obscure, expensive caliber, but 6 rounds of .32 H&R magnum is better than 5 rounds of .38 every day except if you need more ammo(.327 is backwards compatible to .32 H&R, .32 long and .32 short). .327 is downright painful in the platform and is comparable to .357 in terms of energy and again, with 6 instead of 5 rounds. Feckin cannon.
It’s ridiculously hard to find ammo though so I can’t fully justify the platform. Just wish it had caught on more so I wasn’t stuck scouring ammoseek and trying to justify my purchase. I’m rambling. Good night.

Edit- OP, I edc a 938. Love it.

I had a P239. It never really worked for me. It just never felt good in my hand. It seemed unbalanced and these days it has low capacity given its size.
