Deals and steals

i had one blem and 3 non-blems, and frankly never saw what was the difference. i think in some cases blems can have real defects, but most of the time it is just a way for a brand to sell an overstock with no excuse to drop the mainstream price.
last sample was an MDT chassis - also sold as a blem on a black friday sale but it is pretty perfect as a product. go figure.
So not to harp on this too much but blems as far as cosmetic defects only are gtg?

Not guaranteed. Worst possible blem you can get may have holes drilled off position or something comparable. But it is uncommon, typically blem would be a scuff or scratch on a finish- totally irrelevant stuff. But it’s a lottery. I usually buy stuff at a sale but have 3-4 blems too and forgot by now which was which.

I think 99% of blems is gtg

Like I buy blem nosler rdf bullets all the time and they are usually exactly same as non blems. Have both, compared them, no clue wtf blem there is.

All of the blems I've ever purchased have specifically stated that they were cosmetic only, and did not affect the function. In most cases it was almost impossible to identify the blem. In one case the blem was obvious, but I thought it was actually an improvement (a particular part in a kit was supposed to be raw aluminum but it was anodized black, I actually preferred it black).

Is this good as a second caliber-dedicated setup in combination with a Hornady LnL?
With the LnL, if you have the additional bushings, it makes swap over between calibers pretty easy. Personally, I would buy some bushings versus buying another press.

That Lee only has three die stations as well, so if you like to seat and crimp separately, you are out of luck,
