The CMC triggers were too light for x39. 4lbs minimum.
Maybe it applies relatively in this particular case but I don't consider pull weight alone to be an accurate metric for hammer striking force.
I can get a mil spec trigger with an unadulterated mil spec hammer spring to work reliably at under 3lbs pull (considering my duty cycle anyway) by just playing with sear engagement and reset geometry.
So I'm sure some of these fancy triggers can do better than that...

Thanks. I didn't need anything beyond basic black.

Their anodized black (forged) lower is $49.95 and you can have them add your NFA engraving for $35, then use code:2024 for an additional 15% off

So, for $72.21 you end up with a lower you can mill to completion and then ATF Form 1 (just don't mess up the milling).

Arrived today. Both lowers look fine and the NFA type engraving is accurate and looks good. I would recommend.

Two-Pack Mountain House Freeze Dried Meals $10

For the prepper and hunting folks. Mountain House is great, basically all I take with me on outdoor trips. Also got a lot in long term storage with the nice 30 year shelf life. Usually goes for at least $10 per meal in stores. Creamy Macaroni and Cheese + Classic Spaghetti with Meat Sauce. Had them both and they're great when prepared with hot water

three shots to sight in your hunting rifle, three shots in the rifle, fourteen in the pouch in case you get lost.
not sure what the value of the pouch is. Most of the time, you hunt until you get one animal. One shot is all that's needed, plus 2-3 in case you missed vital organs and need a couple of shots to end the struggle. The only reason for carrying more than what's in the rifle is if traveling overland for many days and need to feed the group.
why do people turn simple hunts into some kind of Predator, American Sniper, Mad Max safari?

I got mine too! I hope I don’t have problems with:
1- I put FJB1 for a serial
2- I used last name 1st comma, 1st name 2nd, then middle initial ???

As for the serial number you used I don't think that anyone will even bat an eye. I wouldn't worry; one of mine from this batch is BA6BITCH, and I have previously used U8DZNUTS.

Now the name format you used that I am not sure about because it should match the manufacturer/maker line from Form 1. I simply use First Last no punctuation.

Model and caliber is another thing to consider. I use Mod: 0001 and Cal: 5.56 MM because I know that combination is (has been) a choice of previously "research" designs available to select after entering the manufacturer code: FMI.

But the likelihood of anyone ever examing your engraving is near nil, and if they are holding it in their hand looking at it you already have bigger issues.
