Deals and steals

You and my son. All the time. LOL

5 days a week last summer, he went through an entire box of M&C himself every lunch. He has this MASSIVE ceramic bowl he painted several years ago. It would fill the thing.

He wore himself out on it. Which is good. He eats pretty well outside of if he has M&C.

Always been a fan of Mountain House. I wish there was an outdoor store nearby. I bet my son would get a kick out of a bag of chilimac.

But be careful on the "portions." A pouch of MH is TWO servings. Fat chance. It's 200cal of food. That's not a serving. So a #10 is only about 5 "real" servings. Those buckets at $95 are just 12 pouches. You can get a pouch on Amazon for $10. About the same price. And you get to order what you want instead of 3 or 4 of your pouches being granola in teh bucket.
I feel all that. I don't eat M&C often; when I do, it's a whole box. Same with any of those backpacker meals. There's no world where this is two servings, I just climbed a mountain with a pack on my back.

I'll make myself feel better that when I'm putting those nearly 3k resting calories into myself, it's because I'm <200lb at 6'3"...

But it’s so easy to make it at home. Its better tasting, cheaper, and better for you.
Mac and cheese has a wide range of potential outcomes

Kraft original (with characters) is the baseline by which mac and cheese should be judged

If its worse than kraft...ie your velveetas... cheeto mac... your grandma who puts mushrooms and breakfast sausage in hers

Not worth eating lol

Velveeta is amazing and you shut your whore mouth!

I have a couple 60W dual port chargers so I did not really need this but it is quite a good deal, and I do have a new Macbook Air 15 that I might want to charge at the same time as my phone and not have to wait around.

Anker 736, Nano II 100 Watt 3 port charger (2@USB-C/1@USB-A). Claims you can use up to all three ports at once dissipating 45/30/18 Watts respectively

It is $54.99 ($74.99) but there is now also a 20% off coupon (be sure to click it on the product page) so ends up $43.99 in your cart.

Note: You will probably never draw the max amperage off this thing, but just the same don't use trash cables as they become the weak point in the scheme.

You were gonna be carrying those calories either way...

yeah, but it's only got 74% of the salt and calories of the US version. [laugh]

and half the flavor.

I saw that Rockler had a clearance sale. Not sure if still good, but things were 20% off, save tools.

They had ISOTunes ear protection. I think the FREE's were $70 and if you got them at 20% of that, you're talking 50% off. Decent ear protection for woodworking and such. Not sure if they extended the sale through today. And if ISOTunes were considered "power tools."

MTM Divided Ammo Crate Utility Box $19.99

Only a 5 dollar discount but appears to be lowest ever price. I have a few MTM ammo boxes and they work well. Made in America to boot. As a prepper these seem to be a lot more useful than just storing ammo, but I figured some of you might be interested as well.
