I was seriously thinking of buying these because of the bluetooth feature and its ability to connect to your phone. But reading the details it says: "Bluetooth compatibility is another valuable feature. By pairing the XCEL 500BT to a mobile device, calls and notifications connect through the muffs. Messages and conversations can be heard clearly even in noisy environments." This lead me to think that you could potentially answer calls with them. But reading the Q&As, someone asked if you could answer calls, and the answer was "You can hear your cellphone like for music or YouTube but there is no mic for two way conversation."

If I wanted them for hearing protection and listening to music, that would be one thing, but without the ability answer calls, I can do without them. I know, first world problems, right?

I bought a set of these and they came today. They paired with my phone fine. Playing music worked fine. The instructions say they work for calls. I didn't try that out. Guess I'll have my wife call me tomorrow and see if it works.

I will have to see how "full" I fill the ammo cans. It does have handles on the sides so if I go shooting with someone they can grab one side and I grab one assuming it is too heavy for one person. It can also be used to just hold the cans and strap it down in the bed of the truck or back of my Jeep. I was also going to use one without the partitions for storing dry goods.

Bummer. I could have sold you mine really cheap. I installed it once, but never used it, and have since taken it off and it's been sitting in my closet in its original packaging, ever since. Here's what it looked like installed:

I would never buy anything of Walker's products again
I had a set of electronic muffs that stopped cutting out the shots, so now I have an expensive pair of basic muffs
Also have a pair of their Bluetooth ear buds that the app is useless for & the right side stopped cutting out the shots. I didn't notice that at first but started getting headaches after shooting & now have tinnitus

I moved to NH 6 years ago so I haven’t been there since. Seemed like good guys when I did.

1-6 is not terrible. At least people can get out of work and stop by.

But during the week he would probably be better off doing 2-7. I bet he would get a lot of business between 5:30-7:00.
