Deals and steals

Anybody seeing any great Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals on no-frills lower parts kits? I see this Anderson one at Primary Arms, but it was actually on sale $5 cheaper earlier in November. Anyone seeing any better price on this one... OR... a great deal on one maybe a little more upscale but still semi-affordable? I'd like to get several extras 'cause you never know with Massachusetts. 🤔

Here's a decent one (no idea how it compares to the one at PA).

Personally, I tend to get the small, common, bits and then go with better items for things like the bolt catch, takedown pins, etc. I've been using drop in trigger packs for a while, which makes things a lot easier, on me. I also don't have any AR with the A2 grip. Those tend to get tossed into a container, or given away to the poors. [rofl2]

I have a decent stock of redundant parts for ARs on hand. When I start getting too low, I make sure to resupply. Both AR15 and AR10 related parts. Even ones unique to the AR10 (takedown/pivot pins). IMO, getting them slowly, over time, is a good idear. Or add them to other orders if you need to get the amount a bit higher for free shipping. ;)

So we get threads every so often about work boots.
After wearing work boots daily for the last 30 years and burning through almost every brand except for the pnw boot makers, I’m a firm believer that Thorogood threads the needle best between quality, comfort, and price.
The above coupon can get you an American made, waterproof, safety toe boot for about 250 bucks.
I get about 15 months out of mine and I’m on construction sites every day.
If you’re just doing yard work I can’t see how you wouldn’t get years out them.
Just ordered my first pair of the Thorogood genesis waterproof boots. I have had redwings for years but the quality is not what it used to be. Thanks. I should have them mid-week to try out.

Didn't work for me at all so you are very lucky. [thumbsup] I'm still waiting (3 months now) for a refund of the $65 they weren't supposed to charge me.
What didn't work?

We ran into issues with our security cameras, we had to go online and create a second wifi at 2.4ghz.

The other issue we ran into at first is that their stuff takes a long time to start. So we thought we couldn't connect, but we were being impatient.

The Tmobile tower is roughly 1-1.5 miles from the house, across a lake, if that matters.

Unfortunately I don’t live out that way.
There’s a place on 44 in Raynham called right foot shoes that I’ve had good experiences with but, that’s going to be a haul for you.
Check out midwest boots return policy and see if they’ll take them back if they don’t fit right. (I think they might)
Otherwise
Is the best I’ve got.
FYI I ordered off of Amazon and they came in the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I used to wear 10.5 EEE of the Chippewa boots so I ordered 10.5 regular width as one of the sites stated they run wide. They fit a little snug but that could be that I also got the nano safety toe. We shall see but so far I like them.

That reference to the poors I highlighted... That would be me. 😭

I haven't gotten into fancy triggers (or grips) yet, so I need a conventional everything LPK. Not much cost savings stripping those items out anyway.

I agree with you on shipping. It's a pain in the wallet when shipping is 25-30-35% of the cost of the item. And yes, I'd love to figure out a bundle to avoid that.

I ordered the 10.5 wide nano toe so I’m hoping they will be comfortable!

The Anderson parts kits were cheaper a few months ago, in September I bought this one with the stainless hammer/trigger for my son at the same price $34.99. I also tend to buy the springs and detents and then buy the rest parts I want individually depending on what I'm building. IMG_7123.png

I don’t have a wide foot and the standard width fits me pretty good for whatever that’s worth.
I will say once they break in and get wet a couple times they seem to mold to my feet really well.
They almost pop a little when I pull them on if that makes sense.
Hope you like them.

Is Asspro taking name, LTC, etc for the Queen on primers and other components?
No idea..not in MA anymore.

You just buy them here in FL without anything.....like you would a soda or bag of chips.......if your over 18, I guess they would card you if you looked younger than age maybe...maybe not. I'm not sure that shit is considered ammo down here at all.

I was looking for the same, and ended up ordering that LPK from PA....along with a Geiselle SSA trigger. :)

I was looking for an LPK minus the trigger. Some of the LPKs that come without the trigger are also missing a few other components like the trigger guard or the A2 grip. This one seems like the best value.

Swampfox has some products on decent discount right now (until midnight). Just snagged a Raider and Trihawk to use on a couple of builds and shift at least one scope to something else.

I am waiting 13 months for the -$55 balance they owe me. It's a nightmare company.

Waiting is an understatement, I have done pretty much everything aside from suing them.
