Definitely don't be fooled by anything they say or do. It is a certainty that they will run candidates in selected districts where the candidate will babble some moderate message
(basically lies). After they get elected they will be voting lock step with the loons or they'll get no significant committee seats or much of anything for their districts. Democrats are evil scum no matter what they say. Think RINOs on steroids.

I look at this map and always think....it would be easy for them to take your guns in the blue areas....but the actually have to come out of the blue areas to take your guns if you live in a red area....and that shit aint happening.

In the current national political climate I don’t see any kind of “Confiscation” on a mass scale. No think they are just whittling away so if/when the time comes (national gun ban, Civil conflict, state of emergency) it’s that much easier for blue states to not get steamrolled by gun owners who’ve had enough

FWIW, it got them seats in teh midterm and a presidental reversal 4 years later. The rhetoric can work or not depending on what the other side is doing.

If Trump pisses off eveyrone by cutting "your favorite department" AND inflation kicks in with tariffs AND he bloats the budget with things like Golden Shower Dome, it's going to be easier for the Dems to gain ground despite it just being rhetoric.

Your average undecided voter doesn't necessarily care about hte rhetoric. Nor do they care when Candidate X blows up a situation, mixes it all around, reassembles it and then claims to be the Kumbaya Architect of HArmony annd Healing. People can sniff that out pretty well.

What people care about is their own bottom line. Is more money in my wallet?
