It's not a stupid goal. Building more housing will control costs in world where the government loosened restricitons on borrowing over the last 30 years so that a person can buy a house that costs 4x their income at this point. It was a shade over 2x 30 years ago when I built my house.
The catch is this: YOU HAVE TO BUILD THE HOUSING WHERE PEOPLE ARE! So putting a 100unit apartment in f'ing Berkley, MA to fix the Boston housing crisis is a waste of everyone's time. And then the flipside is this: Sure, make some high-capacity, low-income urban villiage. If you've driven into NYC even today, you can see how well that works, too.
What they COULD do is to fix the lending requirements - back them up to 1992 levels and then you'd crash teh housing market and it woudl be cheap to live again.

As of 3/6 there's currently 39,576 rentals available on Zillow, and 76,298 rentals available on Apartments.com for MA. There's also just shy of 8,000 units for sale. Most of them are in the BOS area. The real killer was the perfect storm of Covid. As a loan officer for a decade, I personally think the scamdemic destroyed the housing market permanently. Rates were too low, and inventory was too low, and it drove the prices to the moon. Everything got bought up with bidding wars. Now there's thousands of folks with 3% down that "could" afford the house trapped with a market they cannot buy or sell out of because there's nowhere to go, and with rates 2-3x what they were, they wouldn't qualify for 50% of the house they snuck into. There is no fixing this. If the rates drop, prices will go back to rising. If rates stay the same, and the market tanks, values will drop and people will be underwater. It's a permanent f*** up - almost seemed planned eh?
they mean they are a 'moral' majority, as their ideas are the only correct ones and all not in compliance should be ordered to wear masks again and be re-vaccinated.
this will not have any resolution, democrats became a tyrannical force that only aims for dominance by any cost and any means necessary.
as more people start understanding it, it will be more and more difficult for them to win legally, so, they will find a way to bypass legality to steal elections.

the disruption of balance of power is very dangerous, and it will only get worse, as when democrats lost ability to stall process in congress - they simply started to use judges issuing orders on anything you can imagine outside of their jurisdiction.
and if as only possible counteract the executive branch will start ignoring judges, then the next revolution of this vicious cycle will make it into a way worse situation.
don`t know, i am a negative nancy and i hate it all as it only progresses from bad to worse so far, with all those great intentions in mind.
and there is no other clear way of what can be done, as it needs to be done. but eggs are already $13 per pack in the roche bros store. probably will get worse too.

I did some work at her campaign headquarters in Charlestown a few years ago.
It seemed that they picked their campaign workers by skin color. They had the perfect ratio of Blacks, Asians, Hispanics and Whites.
I think it was mandatory for the Whites to have green, blue or purple hair with nose rings.
If Lau is the one that put this crew together, then I think the Republicans can rest easy.

He's yelling (which is kinda of his shtick) that the Democrats need to change course or their not going to get enough votes. He's also yelling about how bad the party is right now.
