Interesting how important it is to be able to deploy your weapon on the ground, especially with a young strong and trained offender on top of you ground and pounding your head in. Now with all the hype the Nation and all gun owners should finally realize after years of demonstration not only is it effective to be able to deploy a weapon, it is at times essential to save your life.
Here are a few writers and fellow gun owners who feel this may be of some importance.
Food for thought.

If the twit had had any sense or hand to hand ability, he would not have been on the ground in the first place. One, he'd have had his hand ON his gun (still in his pocket) and two, he'd not have let a suspect get within 6 ft of him without pulling out the weapon and ordering the guy to stop. With your hand on the gun already, in your front pants pocket, you can react, get it visible and ready to fire in 1/2 second. The great majority of the time, that's going to stop an unarmed guy, right there. No shot needing to be fired. Millions of cops, ex-cops, soldiers and civilians have done exactly that.
