Did we settle on a name for “pre-8/1?”

Nope. Pre 8/2 would include 7/31, 7/30, etc. ON 8/1. So "Post 7/31 and Pre 8/2" if you are trying to describe it without using the word ON. ON 8/1 or just 8/1 is the only accurate name. But whatever. People still think that "pre-ban glocks" are a thing. Can't fix stupid. Glocks have never been banned...

While I can practically hear you in the shop telling this to a crowd while asking for audience participation, i think there’s too many characters in it for the poll
 
"8/1 Compliant" but even that is pretty gay.🤣

Not to mention there's not really going to be a great standard of compliance. Most people will literally just be able to invent something and have it accepted at face value because often there will not be a way to verify.

You can literally just hold the gun and wave one hand over it and whisper "eight..... one.... complyyyyyyyyyant....." and it becomes so. 🤣
