Do I want a Glock?

Glocks are ugly, I mean really ugly, as matter of fact so ugly that every time I come in contact with mine I try not to make eye contact with it.

Ain't this thread dead yet? Seems simple to me ;

1. Buy a Glock
2. Shoot the Glock, I mean really shoot the durn thang
3. Like the Glock, keep the Glock, don't like the Glock, sell the Glock...That's what adults do rather than go on NES and get the highly opinionated positions on the subject by a bunch of NES yayhoos (including myself ) in the end you are going to do what you want anyway.

Lotta Glockophiles here love 'em cuz the're hard to get in Mass, makes the owners feel kinda proud and elite and special kinda sorta a millineal thing I think. Others really do like 'em. Handguns are really very individualistic. My two favorites are still the Browning Hi Power and the S &W 39 both old designs and one virtually obsolete, but we like what we like. Right?

Beretta 92fs. You csn leave the safety off chamber a round and decock it. That will give you that first double action pull. I have a glock 23 and it is one of my favorite carry guns(besides my p238) but not my favorite gun to shoot. If i was going to have a night stand gun it would be my beretta.

You could make yourself a "faux Glock". Might be cheaper, and maybe some other benefits also.

what's lead me to a Glock...They are very reliable from what I've read and I like the idea of a DA first pull so I don't set it off while half asleep and fumbling for it, yet SA follow-up shots (man do I love my 1911's trigger). I also like that, unlike with a revolver, I can mount a light on the Glock. I've shot a Glock only once before and will try it again soon.

Why a Glock,well it's the plastic fantastic goes bang all the time, well for the most part.You don't care if it gets banged up,and it's like a BIC lighter when it don't work anymore just buy another one.

i recently got my first glock(s) ....my fav gun is the 1911..it design is gorgeous. But for some reason I do not think the glock is an ugly gun like so many others do. thats the beauty of individual taste....give one a try and if you like it..buy it and enjoy
