I have a buddy who is the executor of an estate that includes a couple of WW2 war trophies. I have no details beyond one and possibly both are Lugers. Most likely to be liquidated. What FFL in MA is good/fair to work with on such a matter?

Oh gosh no. Just a couple good ffls to deal with it. I dont mess with estates until things are final and for proper sale. I want the family to get as much as they can.

Assuming it is in MA, have them talk with Brian Wooley at B&K Sales in Natick. Brian is retired US Army, a great guy and won't steer them wrong or try to screw them. Lugers are worth $2K+ if original and a lot more if a rare variant, with capture papers, original holsters/accessories, etc.

Seeing that with a trigger lock on it looks extremely funny to me.
Someone needs to design some vintage milsurpy trigger locks to match older guns.
