Once you get used to it, its not that bad. You have to train yourself to ignore the ignition. Lots of fun I recommend anyone who hasn't fired one to do so...Its addicting

That's my problem. I rarely met a firearm (Glock ) that I did not become addicted to the moment I shot it.

I love the BP shoots, I just won't get too involved because that's $$ taken away from my other firearm interests. I need to get my bailout so I can buy all the firearms I want.

Shooting muzzle loaders is more fun than you can believe. From .32 caliber squirel rifles to 2 pound cannon, it's a blast. But I use caplocks rather than flintlocks for pistols and rifles. I just enjoy it more.

I'd have to agree. The only thing is, you have to shot it a LOT before you get used to it.

Then again, that's not such a bad thing!!!

I have two cap lock muzzle loaders but I have fired flintlocks and its a different experience to say the least.
