Follow Santa on the Air

Hey, I haven't searched...so flame me now.

But does anyone know about following Santa on Christmas Eve on the air?

I've been told that it happens...but I've yet to do it..and I think that the kids would have a good time talking to him..or listening to him travel...or whatever happens that night.

Don't know about on the air, but the NORAD tracks him by radar all the way, and IIRC, scrambles a couple of F16s to escort him once he reaches US airspace.

Yea, I know that...they even have a google earth plugin that will track him live on Google Earth. I think that there's also an igoogle app this year as well. I'll have the Google Maps up for the kids....but I know that they also do a Santa live on the air. So it would be cool to do both...and give the kids a chance to say HI to Santa while he's on his "Mobile rig" on the sleigh.

Oh, this would be cool. I've been trying to get my 9 year old interested in Ham. The sleigh bell still rings for him (still believes).
