Stopped at Foster Bear Arms Trading Post & Bait Shop today on my way to Mohegan Sun. Nice shop and nice people!

Open 7 days/week

Some C&Rs, lots of guns, lots of ammo, primers, reloading supplies.

John (I assume he's the owner) is a real nice guy, as is the other fellow I was talking with (didn't catch his name).

Bought some 6.5x55 and 7.5x55 Prvi Partisan for cheaper money than I paid locally recently. Also picked up a set of 6.5x55 dies for a good deal, just in case I decide to reload that caliber.

John told me that RI law requires 8 day waiting period on all guns (even with AG issued License, but apparently not with a town/city issued permit), although C&R guns with C&R FFL is cash and carry.

If you're in the area, I definitely suggest stopping in.

P.S. Thanks BJ for the info on this shop location.

I pass that place every year when I go down to the Sun to pick up my Mom from her food conference...

I never do think to go back there and check it out...

I might have to make a drive down there sometime. Thanks Len for posting about this place.

I stopped by Saturday afternoon on my way down to CT.

They had LOADS of powder, a good supply of primers too. Prices were somewhat high, as can be expected these days. They also had lots of ammo on the floor and on the shelves.

Happy hunting!
