Four Seasons Firearms, Woburn, MA

They've outgrown their space and just can't keep up anymore it seems. They should go find a bigger space and hire some more people.
I agree. People are nice but you can tell it's non-stop. I was talking to my LE buddy and he said some crazy stat like 100-150 firearms sales a day (hard to believe).

Just sucks when you going to pick something up at lunch [thinking]

I was in there on a Tuesday at 10am a few weeks ago and the place was packed (which honestly isn't hard to do in such a small space).

The only good thing about the place is prices, sometimes, other than that horrible.

4 Seasons is not a browsing shop, it is a I want X and get in line to buy it at a good price shop. You have to know that before you go there so you don't have unreasonable expectations...

Seems like a lot of places are running low on inventory , I was going to buy a few uppers from Palmetto yesterday and I couldn't believe they had 1 upper. This is going to be that time when the M&P Sports were selling for 1k

Exactly. After all these years, some folks still don't get that. You don't go there for the big, pretty store and to casually browse around. You go there to save money.

Yeah, it's starting. Plenty of evidence of that. Only question is will it last or will the fact that most folks are much better prepared this time around make a difference.

I live close to there so it's my go to store. It's frantic now...even on weekdays at 2 or 3pm when it use to be dead. It's really come down to knowing what I want, putting it on hold, and hopefully getting down there on a good window. It's like going to the Mall now...the wife can browse all day while I get in and leave as soon as possible HA.

I still remember calling a while back inquiring about purchasing a Smith and Wesson 500. The guy on the phone acted like I was retarded asking about it and wasn't helpful at all. Their own 1990's website features info on it and to call the shop. I was like FU you dude and got one somewhere else.

So now, I don't like calling them and I don't really love finding out how it likes to ride a Chinese Subway during rush hour trying to get in there and stand around.

I haven't purchased anything there in a while so I don't know. But if that's true then they are simply setting themselves up to compete against the internet. They will lose that battle. Why go to a local shop to get no service?

good luck getting them to answer a ****ing email.
"Dear Four Seasons customers: We are re extremely and sincerely sorry that we are so absolutely SWAMPED with business, thanks to the latest round of gun-grabbing rhetoric by a disgusting, Muslim-sympathizing, Liberal-rhetoric-puking "Commander in Chief" and his several minions, sheep and worshipping wingnut-Anti fools ....
So busy, in fact, that even though we've hired more help for the holidays, we're so busy that we cannot even answer the constantly-ringing phones, etc alone emaily, since the shop is busy with customers who've traveled miles and deserve the respect of our full attention.

This overwhelming onslaught of business might be due to the gun-grabbing hysteria gripping this once-proud nation, a hysteria being led by idiots who have the power of the media and a subversive radical leader in Washington behind their whacked out cause..
But this might, however, also be due to the fact that we've always - ALWAYS - treated every lady, gentleman and even child who have walked through our doors with the utmost of courtesy and respect.

Additionally, even if we were to hire even more help, the phones will STILL be ringing off the hook and/or busy, since so many of our competitors have given up the 2A cause in MA, and have fled the oppressive Nazi-like regime known as the Massachusetts.gov.
A .gov which each and EVERY DAY adds even more Anti-gun, Anti-2A complete crap to our already overwhelmed plate of burdensome business regulations here in this moonbat CommonPuke of LiberChusetts

Additionally, we happen to be blessed with having an owner, Carl, who been an absolutely fantastic businessman, an avid 2A supporter for the over 25 years that this writer has been patronizing this awesome shop. A gentleman who will shake a customer's hand AND frequently take time from his own mountain of work (a.k.a. Anti-Gun crap) to hop on the phone himself and take a call, answer a question, etc etc.
Carl himself is constantly, dutifully fending off even MORE sh*t from the un-American, anti-Constitutional liberal socialist commies who work in or near a certain building with a certain "Golden Dome" on Berlin Hill.

Sorry that we've been so good at business all these years, and please bear with us as my wife, children and even the family cat and dog attempt to answer the incessantly ringing phone.

Happy Holidays from the best Gun Shop in Massachusetts.... (and this writer doesn't work there nor, am I related to anyone in there, but JFC, give Carl a break, will ya??)

Hopefully this will suffice as an answer to a ***ing email?

Unreal.

When there's an issue, typically Carl takes care of it, often personally. Most websites won't give a crap.

Was in last week, and they were crowded on a weekday. Carl had just finished with a customer, so I asked if he could show me something from the case, he did and everything went smoothly despite the crowd. The price was as good as anything I had seen online and no shipping or transfer cost.

Would I prefer to walk in, have plenty of space to myself and several people fighting to serve me? Sure, but even as is it is no different from any brick and mortar during a rush season.

I,ve always found Carl and the staff at 4 seasons friendly and easy to deal with...special orders don,t upset them. They may be busy but are organized and efficient.

four seasons doesn't have that old timey gun shop feel where the customer can talk guns all day and hang out, drink coffee. anyone one remember those shops? not carl or the staffs fault, just the pure volume of customers prevents that. i've gone to the kiosk in there only to come back and find i have to wait on my guy to finish selling another gun before he comes back to me. carl will absolutely not let a customer walk out unhappy though, best customer service in the gun business. living 1 1/2 miles from fs, i tend to buy most of my stuff there but will steer clear now until the holiday is over. as soon as i see the deli numbers in the hallway i know they are getting slammed.

I went in there today to pick up ammo and a new pistol.

When I opened the door and saw the deli tickets I said "oh crap". However, it went fast and the service was good.

If you really know what you want call Carl ahead of time. You will be in and out quickly.

Stopped by yesterday for the CCI 22LR bricks in stock. It was busy but I grabbed 2 bricks, walked up to Carl and he got me help ASAP. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Awesome!

Was right there with you. Was maybe 10-15 minutes till my number was called and I was out pretty quick.

Yeah I was thinking about grabbing a couple of those bricks myself.
