I knew this author at Westover and can believe what he related in this story.

“We pilots grew frustrated with the argument; we just needed someone to tell us which way to turn. We were flying blind as the argument behind us grew in intensity,” Jay Lacklen, former C-5 pilot.

I am so glad my end of enlistment was before all this crap went down. I bailed in early 1981...both sexes, young with raging hormones, bottled up together on a ship...what could possibly go wrong?

Jay is a good guy. Has anybody read his books "Flying The Line" A lot of Adventures and MIS adventures. I know him from a B-52 Group on Facebook. He flew "BUFFs" in Vietnam.
