If I'm selling to a nh resident with a valid carry permit, do I need to do any paperwork for a FTf sale?

you have to go to a dealer.If it's a long gun you can do it in your state. if it's a pistol it has to be in their state.

FTF between residents of different states is a Federal crime!

You'd be doing lots of paperwork, but not the kind you'd want to be doing.

Have a dealer handle the transaction, that is the only legal way.

You need to go through an NH FFL if it's a handgun. The dealer intakes the handgun into their book, charges you (whatever) for the transfer and then does the NICS/4473 with the guy you are selling the gun to.
