Garand aquisitions and projects.

After selling my restored 6mil m1 garands to a member here a few months ago, was debating to which direction wanted to go.

Well as luck would have it, got hands on another 6mil that requires no work on my end which is a change lol

Congrats! Great looking M1but who are you and in which basement dungeon are you holding @Maninblue1861 ? LOL yes, unusual for you to acquire a correct M1 right out of the box.

To be honest was accidental. Took family up to our place in Lincoln NH for weekend. In way home stopped at the Tipton diner. Saw a Ad on placemat for a place that buys and sells military weapons and other things. So of course looked it up and checked through offerings. Noticed 2 nice M1s all correct. One was a 5.8mil SA, other was this baby. So emailed them asking if wanted to trade for it and offered up trade bait. Worked out an agreeable deal and now back up to nearly full set of M1s.
