Good CCW Article.

The Chronicle, San Francisco, CA
Dave Storton, a San Jose, Calif., police officer, was doing off-duty security work at an apartment complex when two burglars knocked the officer down and attempted to grab his revolver. During the struggle, one of the assailants bit off part of Storton's ear, but the two attackers were run off by an apartment resident who came to the rescue, armed with a shotgun.

I wonder which way the SF cops will vote on the gungrab bill?

Yes, unions like to speak up for the dept as a whole.
Yes, usualy without actualy going to it's members first.
FOP is BBIIIIGGGG on that

And in regerds to no stories from Mass, hang out on the mass L.E. forum enough, theres a lot of stories of civilians coming to officer's help. Maybe not involving firearms..

I know I wouldnt hesitate to dispatch someone to hell if he/she was about to seriously injur / kill an officer

Good stories... I just hope those two leg-shots were bad-aim, and not attempted cripiling shots....
