I have a similar safe. These are GSA certified to store up to TS materials. Mine is a 4 drawer. There are space limitation issues for rifles, but I make it work:
If it's going in a closet you may want to look at these too. http://www.tacrak.com/
Nice rack at a decent price for more immediate access and display at special family get together's and holidays. The liberal in-laws go BS when I do that. The 44 mag under the throw pillow on the couch also works well when they investigate what that bump is!
For just storage the jobbox, truckbox, and file cabinets with items in silicone socks/cases and the OC gas is very effective for high density storage.
Oh man if my family members saw that rack with my "dangerous military weapons" they'd have a heart attack. The vast majority of them are anti gun. They'd act like yours. I'm the black sheep I guess.
You mean shepherd!
I just remembered there are door panel organizers out there so that's some additional storage for mags and handguns if I go that route.
Look at something like this:

I'd prefer a combo lock over a keypad, though.

I was looking at Winchester safes in person actually. Sportsman's Den in Quincy has them. They sparked my interest....
