My parents hated motorcycles. Hated with a passion. I was forbidden to ride one, let alone own one.
He has expressed interest but he’s a systems engineer and travels often for work so he hasn’t had a chance to yet. Hopefully he’ll take a class soon and plink with me in NH.Tell your buddy to get his LTC.
Not just for this temporary problem, but because having a shooting buddy is a good thing.
My parents hated motorcycles. Hated with a passion. I was forbidden to ride one, let alone own one. They came up to CT for my wedding and my mother asked my best man why I was limping. He told her that I'd dumped my bike the day before, and she thought he meant that I'd fallen off of my bicycle. He corrected her, at which point she came to me and asked me how long I'd had a motorcycle - and why hadn't I told them? Told her the truth. I bought my first bike the day I turned 21 and I didn't tell them because I knew it would just upset them.
They weren't thrilled with my tattoos - and I showed my mom the video from the first time I went skydiving.
Pick your battles and remember that your parents won't be here forever.
My Mom just found my rifle-cleaning kit, so I just told my parents and showed them my LTC. It turns out they didn’t even care that much, and all is well.
She was putting a blanket away in my room and opened up one of the drawers and I had it originally wrapped up in a blanket there but it’s been freezing the past few nights so I took the blanket out and left it in the drawer. Sloppy of me ; but I feel a lot better now that I came clean about it.Nice. How did she find it if you don't mind me asking?

I don’t consider Playboys porn, but she found those when my family moved in 8th grade. She’s like an FBI agent I could never really successfully hide anything from her.Next time keep it with your porn collection

I remember my dad bringing me to the police station when I was 15 to get my FID card.

Yup.
Might be time to move out.
My Dad bought me and my brothers shotguns when we turned 16.
GREAT idea!
I see you spoke with your mother. Maybe they'll come around. You could always rent a small storage area.
... or get some furniture with secret compartments:
They can't steal it if they can't find it - the coolest safe in the world
Hi All, I'm based in NH and have made something which I think is pretty cool, and wanted to share it here. Gun safes are ugly. Gun safes advertise the fact that you have guns. All safes can be cracked. In the 18th century, high end furniture often contained secret compartments with the concept...www.northeastshooters.com
