As an NES member, it pleases me to announce the opening of a new gun shop, H-S-Trading. We are a full service FFL located at 1 St. Marks St, Suite C, in Auburn Ma. Our Building is adjacent to ATECH Turbine Components and directly across from Motorsports International. The drive way is on RT 20 (look for the spa sign). We offer a full line of pistols, revolvers, shotguns, and rifles, both new and used, modern and vintage. We are happy to deal with C&R (FFL 03) holders.

In addition to our firearms, with also offer unique cutlery. This includes, but is not limited to fixed blades, custom made knives, combat knives, rescue tools, and some of the most unique pocket knives manufactured throughout the world. Our brands include; Parker, Fighte'n Rooster, Kissing Crane, Bulldog, Case, Cold Steel, Gerber, Buck, Spyderco, Benchmade, and unique one of a kinds. Additionally, all the things you associate with a gun store will be forthcoming, such as ammo, cleaning products, slings, holsters, reloading equipment, and other accessories.

H-S-Trading was the creation of two longtime friends, Rich Scanlon, and Ed Hughes, who desired to create a gun shop where you could go in, sit down, have a cup of coffee, and talk firearms. They want to create a gun store like they would want to go into. A place where the staff is friendly, helpful, not rude, not pushy, but not neglectful. They en devour to provide a great customer experience. Feel free to haggle, we enjoy it. We also are into trades for just about anything firearms related, gold, silver, gems, and fine watches.

Keep an eye out for our posts on NES for inventory updates and specials. Feel free to message us any questions you like.

Can't wait to get over there. You are not far from Auburn Sportsmen's Club (are you members?).

See you around.

Hi Coyote,
No we are not members of Auburn Sportsman's , we are in the process of having a current member sponsor us for a membership. We look forward to seeing you at the range.

I may have to stop by tonight. I am a member of auburn and I will be passing the shop on my way to/from. This can only be bad for my wallet.

I'll try to stop by soon. Next meeting isn't for almost a month now. In the meantime, we have Family Day coming up. Stop in and introduce yourselves. If you want, I can introduce you at the next meeting, and you can apply for membership then.

Also, there seems to be a South Worcester area NES get-together tomorrow night at the Yong Shing: http://www.northeastshooters.com/vb...gether-in-Central-MA-(Sturbridge-Auburn-area)

I am also thinking of putting together an NES/ASC shoot. Check out the get-together tomorrow night (see above).

Inventory's coming slowly. Couple'a nice guns on the rack, but no cash in my pocket for them right now.

Rich did order me a set of grips for my Smith J-frame, though, and they make a heck of a difference both in the look and the feel of the gun:

MAKE SURE TO TELL THEM YOU SAW THIS ON NES!!!!

The shop's name was brought up at the Auburn Sportsmen's Club meeting last night.

I went in there Sunday, and spoke with one of the owners. Seemed really nice, and said he will likely join the club (kind of behind the shop) maybe at the next meeting.

Picked up some ammo and looked around for awhile. For such a new shop, they are pretty well stocked!

Lots of ammo in stock, and their 7.62x54r can't be beat!

Highly recommended!!

Dropped by today on my way through Auburn, highly recommended! Ed and Rich were very polite, easy to shoot the breeze with (no pun intended) and seemed genuinely enthusiastic to help me out, even though I didn't buy anything (yet!)

Rich and Ed are good guys. I have done 2 group buys through them, and they are always willing to help out NES. I was in there for about an hour shooting the crap with them, and nailing down some details for my group buy.

Again, went there for my lower and Rich & Ed are great guys. They are working on getting more & more stuff in their shop everyday. They are also trying to be as competitive with Walmart on ammo as they can be. Surprisingly, the ammo isn't priced bad at all. Most gun shops the prices on ammo is through the roof.

Ed told me that Walmart having no ammo license right now, is helping them lately. They have a case right now of 2,000 rounds of XM855. I forget the price, but it isn't much more than what Walmart would be. Walmart never has that much. So, to be able to buy it all in 1 shot at H-S is helpful. If I had the money, I would buy the whole case.

Need less to say, stop in and say hi to these guys. Their good guys, always able to chat for a few, and it's going to be a nice shop. Once again, for the 2nd time, they stepped up and helped out NES.

I have done 2 group buy transfers and 1 personal transfer with no issues... always something new in the shop every time i come in. Ammo prices are on par with most shops, good selection. The new stock of reloading stuff is awesome.
