To all club members, their guests and associates as well as the public are advised that this event is canceled and will not be rescheduled. It's that time of the year to find out who is the "BEST" all around shooter. There will be serious bragging rights for an entire year. So start practicing and plan to attend this great shooting and socializing event.'

Shooting Sports: (equal point value)

• Archery - single or five spot target at 20-ish yards
• Trap - 5 bird round,
• .22 Pistol - one hand
• Rimfire .22 Rifle –
• Muzzleloader
• Highpower Rifle
• Slug Shotgun
• Knife and Hawk throwing
• Fire Starting with Flint and Steel

Bring your own bow and arrows, shotgun, .22 pistol, .22 rifle, and ammunition. There will be a very limited amount of shooting equipment on loan for those that do not have certain items.

Shooting Sports, Course of fire, and Scoring

Archery (100 possible points) Shot indoors from 20-ish yards. Participant has the choice of using either a single or five spot target. Each participant will shoot five arrows Scoring: Single spot target, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 with a missed arrow a 0. Five spot target, 5 or 4, with a missed arrow a 0. X’s are used for a tiebreaker.
Trap (100 possible points) Participant will shoot 5 shots (5 birds) from about 23 yards. Scoring: Each clay bird hit is worth 20 points, misses are 0. First loss used for a tiebreaker.
.22 Pistol (100 possible points) Shot at the outdoor 25 yard range with one hand. Course of fire consists of 5 rounds shot in 5 minutes. Missed shots count as 0. X’s are used for a tiebreaker.
.22 Rifle (100 possible points) Shot at the outdoor 100 yard range from the bench. Course of fire consists 1 shot at a bowling pin and 4 shots at a silhouette. Missed shots count as 0. X’s are used for a tiebreaker.
Muzzleloader Rifle(100 possible points) Participant will shoot 3 shots on paper from about 25 yards. 1 shot at a mounted clay bird and 1 shot at a gong worth 20 points, misses are 0.
Highpower M1A 30-06 Rifle (100 possible points) Shot at the outdoor 25 yard range 5 shots on paper target Course of fire consists of 5 rounds shot in 5 minutes. Missed shots count as 0. X’s are used for a tiebreaker.
Slug Shotgun (90 possible points) Shot at the outdoor 25 yard range. Course of fire consists of 3 rounds shot in 5 minutes. Missed shots count as 0. X’s are used for a tiebreaker
Fire Starting with Flint and Steel (100 possible points) Start a fire with Flint and steel (all supplied) This is a timed event
Knife and Hawk Throwing (125 possible points) Knife and Hawk supplied with instuction a stick is worth 25 points and a miss is 0
Fishing Rod Casting (100 possible points) 5 casts Fly 5 casts Spin into a hulahoop



Rules

No practice shots, sighting in, or “looking at birds” are allowed during the Challenge.
Scoring for a station is final once the group leaves that station. Questions regarding a score must be addressed before leaving that station.
In case of a tie, the tiebreaker will be the combined X count in Archery, Pistol and Rifle, and the first loss in trap.
There will be a very limited amount of equipment available for individuals to use that do not have certain equipment. This equipment is on loan from club members. Users of borrowed equipment are responsible its’ return in the same condition as it was received!
