How do you read this AK? Worth buying?

It's a Norinco or Polytech hunter,I can't tell if it's milled or stamped,if its milled that's a good price.

I'm actually a little shocked...aside from a few grossly jacked prices most of the ak's seem priced ok......it doesn't say what caliper it is.

the 30 round mag says it's 7.62x39

I was not aware that they didn't make 30 round Ak Mag's for 223? I couldn't tell the difference between a x39 or 223 mag from a picture anyways. I have only seen one of these hunter models close up the wood is actually pretty nice.

they're good sporting rifles, that's for sure. "Converting" them is a royal PITA though.

7.62x39 mags are very distinctive. Pretty easy to identify through a picture just because of it's curvature.

If they get their way all military based designs will be banned...along with any thing thatcis chambered for military ammunition. Just like the countries across the pond.
The more I look at this varriant the more I like it. Looks comfortable to shoot.

Thanks! The seller says it's not rusted at all. So I'll find out how well it shoots. If it's tapped and drilled, then I'd scope it briefly. Otherwise, the long sighting radius should help shoot better.

Happy holidays!
