I'm not buying any more guns because...

Whatever you do, when selecting a holster make sure it is designed so you can reholster your firearm using only one hand.

A holster that requires you to hold it open with one hand while inserting the gun with the other is not a safe holster. You should never cross your hand, or any other part of your body, with the muzzle.

Stay safe out there! [hmmm]

+1. That's why I've waited many, many weeks for some holsters.

I don't know which retailers are authorized but I just checked thier website. At first I did look at them but many holsters were in the $200 range... however I just noticed the Clipper which looks like a nice IWB for a fair price... I'll look into that. Any retailers that you'd recommend?

Thanks!

A fellow retiree from my old PD, and I, got a pocket holster from

Pocket Concealment Systems, Inc.

Good quality and reasonable prices. They also make an IWB holster.

Pfff... holster? Mexican carry ;-)
On a more serious note. Have you considered smart carry? Very flexible in terms of one or two sizes of smart carry fitting pretty much ever gun you own. Also makes for an easy ambidextrous presentation. The disadvantage in my eyes is that you must either tuck in your shirt or wear a mumu.

Have you looked at crossbreed? I love mine.
I ordered mine last week [smile]
He said that they were about 4 weeks out and that he was going on vacation after that for a bit.
I also asked him about belts, he said that he doesn't have any now but so many people have asked that he will be adding them to the catalog this fall. I need a good thick leather belt that isnt so floppy like the one I have now.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I didn't realize Mitch Rosen has a retail shop in Manchester, NH! I when there today and picked up a Clipper and a single stack double mag carrier. Seems like they have great quality holsters and their lead time isn't too bad if they have to make it.

+2 on Crossbreed holsters. I bought one on Martlet's recommendation, and I have been quite happy with it. Carries the gun well, distributes weight evenly, and is nearly invisible under a tucked-in shirt.

Well worth the time and money.

Jax,
Have you used any of their pocket holsters?

Yep, the one in my pocket now. [smile]

I always like leather pocket holsters made the Michael Debethcourt way: before it is stitched, the slick, finished side of the leather is turned to the inside of the holster, thus aiding a superior, snag-proof draw.

If you ask, many holster makers will do this for you.
