Hopefully never. I've sold other stuff to buy the miltary stuff. The problem is I really don't have much other stuff anymore.

Nice pick-up on the 03a3. I got one in a trade last month from 1903Collector and I haven't been able to get to the range to try her out yet. I should of went to the range yesterday. Hummmm, day may be the day.

I did see a really nice K98 at the Wilmington show, a bcd (Gustlofwerke) made in 1944. Every visible part matched including all the external bolt parts. I didn't see down the barrel. Finish/condition was consistant with an original bring back. I took the guy's card; a fully matching K98 for $475 seems really good and worth a second look when I have the $$. The only flaw was the swastikas had been lightly and exactly peened out of the eagle's talons.
