My wife bought home a box of .22 ammunition that a co-worker gave her.
The box says J.C Higgins, .22 short, No. 340 and in big letters "COPPER PLATED,
XTRA_RANGE".
On the back it says, J.C. Higgins ammunition sold by SEARS, ROEBUCK AND CO.

Anybody have any info? Such as when it was made (date range) or collectibility?

Thanks!

Best guess is 1960s vintage. I remember that stuff on the shelf in every Sears back when I was a kid.

Don't know about collectibility, but if it isn't corroded, it should be perfectly safe to shoot.
