@wcorey has it right.
I'll be that guy. Nobody says them out loud because they don't want their dealers harassed by non serious LCD tire kicking pests. I literally stopped telling people where I shop unless I know them really well and I know they're serious about actually wanting to buy something.
If you need someone to advertise to you the price, and you dont't already know where you're going to try to get something, you're way behind the curve as an enthusiast buyer. Like 200 miles or maybe a decade or so. This is excusable if you're an FNG/noob or something but you're not new. I don't know how to explain this to you but it's like an adult thing or something. Like as a paralell the guy I buy a lot of my cigars from I don't even ask him what the price is because I know his price is going to be good, because I have that kind of customer relationship with him. I build rapport with people I do business with instead of being an LCD pest. I don't fiddle f*** around (much!). You have to get out of the "box store i need a towel attendant, tire kicker" mindset. I have a client of mine who runs a small business who just got his LTC and was ready to buy and I explained this stuff to him and he cottoned to it immediately and had great results. It's not rocket science. 99% of it is commitment to action. Like literally, one good action gets you to the right place/things.
