Knock off surefire?

I just took a look at the x300 mounted to my Glock and the tip looks very worn butalso the lens!

I’m not seeing any wear in those pictures…

Its carbon from firing the gun, just wipe it off, put a dab of CLP or chapstick on the lens and rub it in itll come off easier next time.

That's normal for any light if you shoot. If you can't wipe it off with some clp use a no.2 pencil eraser, it'll come right off. Coat it with a layer of chapstick or Vaseline and it'll be easier to clean next time. If you actually think it's a fake surefire you can reach out to them and they should help you figure it out.
