My favorite store doesn't seem to carry any- I'm north of Boston. I would like to pick up a set soon. Going to training classes with regular muffs is annoying. I see a lot of folks with Peltor I assume they are pretty good. Any thoughts?

I have a couple practical handgun courses coming up (including a day at Sig with Bruce Gray) so I'd like to find something quick.

I have never seen them locally.

If you order from Midway, you'll get it in less than 2 weeks. If you have a C&R FFL, you'll buy it for a lot less than a retail store would sell it for. Midway sells Peltor and Radians. Dillon sells them too but no discounts.

I have used Peltor Tac-7 for a few years and like them. Can't use them with most rifles/shotguns. I just got the Peltor Tac-6 for rifle/shotgun use, but have only used them once to date. Highly recommend Peltors.

Thanks. I think I'm leaning towards the Peltor 7s. For rifles I'll just use ear plugs... I think I know what you mean- my passive head set gets in the way quite a bit with the rifles.
