I've found myself shooting more and more on a range that is restricted to standard velocity .22LR only. I've also found that it's increasingly difficult to find .22LR in standard velocity at a good price. At Walmart you can get the Federal bulk packs of the copper coated .22LR at $10/550 (I have probably 20k of its stored up somewhere), and you can find similar stuff at $15/500 everywhere (Golden Bullet, etc).
Problem is, it's all high velocity. I can barely find standard velocity anywhere - Walmart, Dicks, Bass Pro - none of them carry the stuff. The only places I've been able to find standard velocity (a couple gun shops), it's lead, not copper coated, and runs twice as much - around $30/500.
Can anyone recommend a place where I can find copper coated, standard velocity .22LR for around $10-15/500???
